The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. Developed at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Brompton, London, over 20 years ago, it is an 11 week/15 session practical introduction to the Christian faith. It is now being run by 100's of churches of all Christian denominations right across the world.

Alpha is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about the Christian faith in a relaxed atmosphere. It is also a wonderful way to meet new people and make new friends.

Each evening begins with a meal and is followed by a talk and an opportunity to join a discussion group. The course includes an optional weekend away, which for the current course is Friday 24 - Sunday 26 February 2012 at the Shekinah Christian Conference Centre Newton-in-Bowland.
